[Opinions] Birth Announcements
Here are the interesting ones I got from the newspaper:Twin girls: Ava and Mya
Cailean Patrick (I don't know how to say this!)
Ophelia Eowyn (looks pretty... don't know how to say Eowyn)
Karina Giannie Marie
Satine Marie (I LOVE Satine, but didn't know anyone else did too! :))
Madlynne Nevaeh
Lileigh-Anna (this is the second time in 2 weeks I see 'Lileigh' in the paper... I think I like it!)
WDYT?

Ava and Mya...overused!Cailean Patrick...Poor kid is going to be called Ca-lean in school instead of Ca-len!Ophelia Eowyn...I'm not one for the big use of Celtic names. A few are pretty and I'm glad this one is at least being used as a middle name. Ophelia is pretty and unique.Karina Giannie Marie...I love the use of Giannie here! Satine Marie...I don't really have an opinion on this name. I don't know if that is bad or good.Madlynne Nevaeh...I don't see what's wrong with Madeline/Madelaine/Madeleine! Why do we keep on alternating names? I swear, nothing gets me more pissed while reading birth announcements and seeing another Kamryn or Maddison being born!Lileigh-Anna....not a big fan of Lily and its variants. Never was and probably never will be. Kileigh I think is pretty even though it is a different name. I also think there are some names that shouldn't be hyphenated.

Twin girls: Ava and Mya- plain and popular
Ophelia Eowyn- people should not be aloud to use Eowyn, but at least it is the mn
Satine Marie- reminds me of Satan
Madlynne Nevaeh- just a bit tryndee
Lileigh-Anna- I acually kind of like this

Twin girls: Ava and Mya - Blah.
Cailean Patrick - KA-len. I don't like it. But I like Patrick.
Ophelia Eowyn - This combo is a bit much. But it's also very lovely. I'm glad Eowyn is the middle name and not the first.
Karina Giannie Marie - I cannot for the life of me understand people who use two middle names, and the second is Marie, Grace, Rose, etc. What's the point then?
Satine Marie - Satine? Really? I think that's very tacky. But, maybe if I was a normal person and didn't hate Moulin Rouge, I would understand. Seriously, I don't get naming your child after that character. And the name is ugly; sounds like a mispronounciation of Satin.
Madlynne Nevaeh - *sobs* Why not Madeleine? I don't understand.
Lileigh-Anna - This hurts my eyes and I think it's even worse than Madlynne Nevaeh. Why not Liliana? Seriously? Or Lily Anna, if you REALLY had to?

Lileigh is horrible.

Ava and Mya - I like Ava, even though it's so popular. Mya is okay, but I prefer it spelled Maia.
Cailean Patrick - I love it, although I prefer Colin or Calum. Cailean looks too feminine to me. Colin Patrick is one of my combos.
Ophelia Eowyn - Also very nice. I'm glad they used Eowyn as a mn so she won't constantly be associated with LotR.
Karina Giannie Marie - I don't really like it. I like Gianna, assuming Giannie is associated with that.
Satine Marie - don't like it
Madlynne Nevaeh - UGH! Although if it was spelled Madeline or Madeleine, I'd like the fn.
Lileigh-Anna - UGH again! Lily-Anna would be okay.
