Phoenix and Maya adopted their last child, a little girl named Aimi from Japan. Ezra, being ten years younger than Nora (the next youngest), has always felt a little left out. He had his nieces and nephews to play with, but it was never quite the same. Now he has Aimi to play with, and he seems much happier. The two get along wonderfully. Aimi was really shy at first, being in a new country where she could barely speak the language, but Ryou (who has been taking Japanese classes for a few years) helped her out, and now she's speaking English just fine.
Mia has had her hands full with the quintuplets she and Jamie just welcomed! Chloe, Lucy, Jesse, Joel, and Ash are all tiny, as they were born prematurely, but are doing good. They just came home from the hospital. Miles and Nora have been spending a lot of time at Mia's helping out with the quints, and of course, Phoenix and Maya have been helping too, though they have their own little ones to take care of. A couple days a week they bring Sadie over to play with Ezra and Aimi so that she gets a little extra attention - attention is hard to get around the Anderson household nowadays.
Zoe and Seth also welcomed a new baby - just one, though! Little Violet Almudena Cruz. She looks a lot like her father and older brother, with dark hair and eyes and an olive complexion.
Ryou has moved on from Jenna. He was rather upset about her choice not to be involved with the baby, though he knew from the time he decided to keep Nami that Jenna wouldn't be there. He recently met a new girl, Alondra. She's a few years older than him, but it seems like they're very in love, and she also adores Nami, which is very important to Ryou.
And last but not least, Ave and Lance were recently married. The ceremony was fairly large - they met in their high school band class, so many of their former bandmates were there to celebrate with them. It was a blast, and all of their siblings and their kids had some sort of part in the ceremony (except the littlest ones, of course).
