*I have a grudge against the use of the name Maria on every other Hispanic/Latino female in the media, so I changed Trist and Bastian's daughter's name. The Maria-craze drives me insane! lol*

Nine grandchildren and not even fifty years old... One of them is even older than our youngest daughter! We love them all, and it's certainly never boring with ten small children and two teenagers in the family!
Rory carried on the legacy Daniel began, succesfully convincing poor Lily not to eat eggs for fear of having a baby grow inside her. (I TOLD Sebs to tell the boy the truth before it got out of hand, but here we are, twenty-four years later and our children still telling that story.)
Ari will graduate high school this year - the same year Lily began kindergarten! She says she will be thrilled to finally get some time to herself, without siblings, neices, and nephews bothering her at all hours. She intends to spend the summer at the beach, and then begin at the community college.
Rory is now a sophomore in high school - oh, my. Do you happen to remember what Daniel was like? Rory is worse. We have been getting constant calls about her lack of dedication, her flippant attitude, and her downright laziness. She gets C's and B's on her report cards, though she could easily do better if she put a little work into it. She's such a smart girl; we fear the legends of her many older siblings are putting to much pressure on her.
To our surprise, we recently found out Draven has been contacting Rory on her cell phone. She refused to tell us where he is, saying "it's his life." Daniel is still livid, even after three years, and is constantly pressing Rory for information. To her credit, she is very assertive in her decision not to tell him. We can only be glad Draven feels safe enough to call someone in our family, and seems to care about the news, but we would really like to know what happened to him.
(Give me two more rounds, and I'll figure it out. :p)
I think this system is pure genius! Wish I'd thought of it!
