[Opinions] Laurel
Lately Laurel has been appealing to me, as it seems to really match my style. I've been thinking of Laurel Kathleen, Kathleen would be her grandmother. WDYT?Also, WDYT of Judith Veronica? I love Veronica, but I think it's just too heavy as a first name. The only combo I seem to really like is this one. That said, which is better: Miriam Helen or Liora Helen? Why? Finally, I have always loved Sojourner Truth, and wanted to honor her. Using her real name is not an option - she chose a new name to represent herself and using her original name would be - to me - disrespectful. WDYT of Liora Truth? So, the sib set would be Laurel Kathleen, Miriam Helen, and Liora Truth. Boys' names would probably be the same - Nathaniel Schaan, Simon Raphael, and Lev / Laurence / Lir Allan. (My choice would be Lir.) I do know that there are an awful lot of Ls, but I don't plan on having more than two or three kids. The actual sibling set I would probably use would be a mixture of Lir Allan, Nathaniel Schaan, Liora Helen, and Miriam Judith. That way I would honor those I wanted to ( My father, grand-father, aunts, and husband's mother.) Leaves out a lot of people, though. :-(

Laurel Kathleen is very pretty and I like that Kathleen would honor the grandmother.Re: Judith Veronica, each name is quite strong so I don't really care for them paired together. Judith Miriam (or something equally balanced such as Judith Naomi) would work better, imo.Between Miriam Helen and Liora Helen I prefer the former simply because it flows a bit easier for me. In other words, the transition from Miriam to Helen is nicer than the one from Liora to Helen (at least it is to me, anyway).Have you considered incorporating Sojourner into one of your female combos? Now *that* is a cool name.

I think it's lovely, and Laurel Kathleen is really gorgeous. I don't normally like Kathleen but it's wonderful here.Judith is also very heavy, in my opinion. For that reason I don't think it's a great combo. I prefer Miriam Helen to Liora Helen. I've been on a huge Miriam kick lately, and while I like Liora a lot, it doesn't flow as well with Helen and I don't love it as much as Miriam.Liora Truth is too R-heavy for me. Miriam Truth or Helen Truth?Laurel Kathleen, Miriam Helen, and Liora Truth is a very nice sibset. Liora and Laurel are too cutesy for me as sisters, though, not just because of the Ls, but because they both have the "or" sound in them.I love Simon Raphael and Nathaniel. What's Schaan? I've never heard it before. Lir Allan is also nice.

Schaan is Zander's middle name, his mother's maiden name.

I love Laurel! It's a long-time favorite of mine.Laurel Kathleen is a pretty combo.Judith Veronica is not my style, but a nice combo nonetheless.I prefer Miriam Helen. I prefer the flow and think it just has a nicer *feel* to it. (Although, individually, I prefer Liora to Miriam.) I like the meaning Liora Truth has for you. By itself, I don't care for Truth as a name, though.

I'm not big on Laurel, or an Laur- names except maybe Laurence. :) The combo however is great, and goes well with Judith Veronica.I prefer Miriam Helen.Liora Truth is alrigh, very different for all of your other names. Liora is very pretty though. Also, Liora and Laurel have a very similar sound, in my opinion. I think: Judith Veronica, Miriam Helen, Liora Kathleen would make a great sibset.

Ty.Liora Truth is much truer to my style than the rest, honestly.

Both Judith Veronica and Laurel Kathleen are gorgeous :)I prefer Liora Helen, for the fact that Liora really makes Helen feel that bit more youthful (but not frivolous), if you get my meaning. Miriam has never been my cup of tea, though its nice for someone else. I've known too many Mariams to ever consider it. Liora has a lovely meaning as well, but truth be told you couldn't go wrong with either.
Liora Truth is also lovely, I love the whole sibset. When I was making combos I also found that I wasn't honouring all the people I wanted to (and thats not an awful lot) so I went with two mns, whats your opinion on that? Just an idea :)

Laurel is very pretty! It has been appealing to me lately as well (again). In my case though it probably wouldn't work since my sister's name is Laurie.Laurel Kathleen works, I'm not crazy about Kathleen, but if it honors then all the better.I don't care for Judith and Veronica is okay but not my style, but the combo Judith Veronica has a nice look and flow to it. I don't think that Veronica is too heavy as a first name at all, I've met a couple (maybe more) and it works. I'd love to see the nickname Vera for Veronica : )Liora Helen is so much prettier to me. I like the name Liora better than Miriam for one, and the sound and meaning of Liora & Helen together is better to me. Miriam Helen is nice as well though.Liora Truth is great as well, reminiscent of Melora Truth ; )Nathaniel is very nice, Simon Raphael is great! Is Lev pronounces LEHV? It's nice. Have you considered Liev (lee-ev) I like the look of Llyr better than Lir, and Laurence is nice.
