[Opinions] Emmanuel?
What do you think of the name Emmanuel? (for a boy)Do you distinguish Emmanuel from Immanuel or do you pronounce them in the same way?
Personally I say Emmanuel like the beginning of Emma and Immanuel like 'in' but with an M.And if you feel like it do you have any good middle name suggestions?TIA!

I pn both Emmanuel and Immanuel the same. I really prefer Emmanuel, mostly for religious beliefs, and I like the E look better. Not that there is a right or wrong way to pn your kid's name, but its not Em or Im. Its more of e-man-u-el (the u-el tends to run close together), but maybe thats just how we say it. (This is how I've always heard it pn in church, and also when I had a classmate in HS Emmanuel, but he mostly went by Manny).I think it works best with something short, one-syllable. Emmanuel Scott, Luke, Sage...so forth
