[Opinions] Darian
What are your thoughts on Darian? I'm leaning on it more for a boy, but I've heard it on girls - which do you prefer?

Much prefer Dario or Daria
It's definitely better on a boy. My ex-boyfriend, named Darren, decided that he would change his name to either Darian or Darion. I preferred Darian and it seems like he did, too, because he's now Darian. I think its less common than Darren, looks better and sounds more masculine than than Dorian, IMO. Daria's pretty on a girl, though.
I'm sorry, but I really dislike the name for boys and girls. I've heard it before, in a movie I think.
I like Darian, though I'm leaning towards preferring Darius (love the meaning). It says Darian is pronounced as "DER-ee-an", but that's a very American English 'R' way of pronouncing it to me. I actually say something like "DAR-ee-an" or "DAHR-ee-an". On first thoughts I presume it to be a boy's name, so I prefer it as such.

I've always like this name. I suppose it works on a boy, but I really prefer it for a girl. I confess that my uncle's first wife was named Darian, so I'm predisposed to think of it as a feminine name anyway.
I like Darian.
I think I kind of prefer the way Darien looks. It's alright. I think it's definately masculine.
