Assendorp is a small yet noble principality nestled between Slovenia, Croatia, Italy and the Adriatic Sea. Our terrain is very varied, including lakes, mountains and rocky coastlines. Winters are frosty and wet but our Summers are warm and our pure white sandy beaches attract the young and beautiful from all over Europe. Our capital city - Assendorp Town - is built on the top of several hills and looks out over the ocean. The town is known as being very bohemian, serving as home to many of the most well-respected artists and writers of today. Assendorp has a proud tradition of classical music and our Royal Opera House is considered to be one of the most magnificent buildings in Europe. The Ruling von Haanraadts family came to power 300 years ago and has managed to keep control all through a time when most other principalities have been dissolved and ansorbed into other countries. His Serene Highness Prince Viktor is the only surviving child of the late Prince Edward and has spent the majority of his 46 years of life gambling, having affairs left right and centre and generally being a layabout. However - after succeeding to the throne 4 months ago on the demise of his father - he is determined to clean his act up. He wants to settle down, find a nice wife and make his country proud.
