First thought: Male sexual performance. Parents had trouble conceiving, perhaps?
Second thought: they think living life is a hardship

Overall: can't think of anything I like about this word used as a name.

It reminds me too much of Shackleton's ship. I suppose the name was good luck for them, but as I recall they had to abandon the ship and it was crushed on the ice flow. Bad juju.
