I know the nn Cai is for Caius, but could it be short for Micah after a stretch? A little contrived, but that's my nature with nicknames.

Also, what do you think of Providence for a girl? I know it's very word namey, but that too, is my style.

I like Kai on its own, and a while ago when I was into word names I thought of Providence too. The fact it's a city is what turned me off though.

I really really like Cai! I think it's good as a nickname for Caius and it could work for Micah since all of the letters are in it.
Providence has a nice sound and it could work, but it's nms.

Cai could work as a nickname for Micah, but I prefer just Cai or Caius. Providence seems a bit too harsh for a girl imo.

I think Cai could work as a middle name for Micah. I do like Providence for a girl, it is kinda cute.

Cai - nice enough but a little to short for me I tend to prefer longer names, yes it could work as a nickname for Micah
