Help[Opinions] Graham
I have just recently gotten hooked on Graham as an option and wondered what your opinions were of it. I tend to like handsome British names that are well-known, but just below-the-radar enough that the 'typical' American mom (think Aidan, Jaden, Caden) would be hesitant to use them. Unfortunately, I think this could elicit cringes from the extended family who are used to Michael, Danny, Jacob, etc.
Please let me know all connotations you have of the name; positive negative or otherwise. I am not fazed by the 'graham crackers' association ;-) Please let me know what you think.

I love the name personally. I prfr the spelling Graeme but either way it's great I think. One of my GP's.

I really like Graham.
If you've ever seen (or read) Field of Dreams (Shoeless Joe is the book), you may remember "Moonlight Graham" AKA Archibald Wright Graham. (Or, maybe you are a baseball fan and know of him otherwise). Watching this movie is the first time I ever heard of the name Graham, and I am a huge baseball fan, and I love the movie as well as the book.

I've always liked Graham. It's never been at the top of my list, but always on it. I suppose I understand how people associate it with graham crackers, but I never have and never really even thought about that being a possibility until I saw it on this board. Besides, graham crackers are tasty. I think it's a very handsome name nonetheless.
I think Graham is fairly traditional, so your family shouldn't be too wierded out. But even so, perhaps his middle name could be something like Michael, Thomas, etc.

im leaning towrards it only being a middle name for some reason. I also think that Graeme is a better spelling of the name. Nevertheless it is a nice ''strong'' name so if you like it, then go for it

I'm neutral to the name, leaning towards like though because all the Graeme/Graham I have known have been lovely people. They have also been from different generations. Though I do much prefer Graeme over Graham. It says it can also be pronounced as GRAM, but I've only ever heard it as GRAY-um, except for a German man who always called Graeme 'GRAM'.

Graham is not my favorite name but I think it's perfectly fine if you like it. Not unusual but not too common either. It will be easy to grow up with for your son. However I'd recommend you to choose a middle name that is even less common.

I like it. I think it's a stable, handsome name. I never even thought of 'graham cracker'. The only thing I don't like about it is the spelling. The 'ham' part bugs me. But that might just be me.
