[Opinions] Eula
Intrestingly enough, I've been thinking about the names on my fathers side of the family, and he seems to have a few. I'll edit this post as I find out more.but my great grandmothers name was Eula, and I can't say I particularly love it, but I've never heard it before. My grandmothers name is Valoryn. and her sisters name is Gwendolyn. I believe my great grandmother on my grandfathers side was Lily, but I could be mistaken for another relative.

Eula seems like the kind of name that could grow on someone, however it reminds of Eula May (if I'm remembering correctly) from to kill a Mockingbird.

I have nothing against Eula, but I don't really know, wuold I use it as a honouring name if I didn't care about it...
Why are all the family names so important? My grandmother is Raisa, her sister is Serafima "Sima", and my grand-grandmother is... Fruma! I dislike those names, so I won't even concider to use them. Lily is nmsaa, but Gwendolyn is adorable! :)

I'm sorry, but as I work in IT industry, Eula is too much alike EULA, which stands for "End User License Agreement", which restricts the users to do only this and never do that. :-(http://blog.pixnet.net/swang928

I like Eula, especially this spelling. A good friend of mine's mother's name is Yeulah. She is from China and wanted to Americanize her name, and Yeulah was the closest. I always liked the sound of it, but the spelling put me off. It never occured to me that there was another way. Thanks! If you don't care for Eula, how about Eulalia / Eulalie?I love Gwendolyn, but prefer the Gwendolen spelling. Lily is lovely, but I'm sick to death of it. It's the new Emily.
