Nathaniel is now married, to a wonderful young woman named Alexandra. We cringed as a couple when they announced James's full name, but we always did encourage literary reference... Yasmin still doesn't seem to know quite what to make of James and Nikolai, especially since Niko has been diagnosed with autism.
Charlotte married a man she met in college, Lysander, about three years ago. Miracle of miracles, they haven't yet blessed us with any great-grandchildren.
Conversely, a baby was left on the doorstep of Daniel and Kathryn's home with a note that said simply "give it to Altan - name October Hawk Steedman". Daniel was not happy about it, and Altan refuses to discuss what happened other than "it's mine, okay?" He has, however, decided to change the poor thing's name to Donovan Hawk Steedman.
Alex has begun 'dating' his best friend Colin. Most of the family is fine with it, but Tristan and Bastian of all the people disapprove. Tristan went so far as to call Colin a slut to Alex's face. Daniel thinks it is a bit ridiculous for a forty-year-old man to make judgements on a teenager's character, but we don't think he cares much for Colin, either.
Things remain pretty much the same in Eoin's family, relationship-wise. Atticus is going through somewhat of a rebellious streak, though, and was suspended from school for two weeks for punching the principal when he yelled at him for mouthing off to his algebra teacher for yelling at him for throwing a hacky-sack at another boy when he yelled at him for tapping his pencil on his desk. Teenagers.
Nothing of much note has happened in Cata's family, just the typical drama.
Draven and Sydney have gotten remarried! Nolan and Caspian are not happy with the arrangement, but Draven and Syd told them to "get the hell over it already."
Chela has entered college with plans to become a defense attorney, and Nacho plans to begin college next year to become a high school English teacher.
Ariadne and Ethan are still happily un-married, and Aidan is thankful for being an only child at age seventeen, despite the odds one faces in our family.
We have now stopped cringing when we hear Sirius, Bella, Cissa, and Reg's names, even with the addition of poor little Andromeda. I would truly like to know what possessed Rory and Rowan to name their children after the Blacks. At least the set is complete now, and we shall all pray we don't end up with great-grandchildren named Draco and Nymphadora.
Lily and Conall have had a daughter, Eleanor Grace. Eleanor was born with cerebal palsy, but it's too soon to be sure how much she will be affected.
