I heard this name on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. Its the daughter of a Cardassian. I love it, even though its a bit sweet. Its pronunced ill-EE-ana. I really love it, but am not sure if I'd use it. What do you think of Iliana Rose or Margaret Iliana?

Iliana is nice, I like Ileana too. To me Iliana is ee-lyah-nah and Ileana ee-leh-ah-nah by the way. The "ee" are like the English ee but shorter.

Oh, I met the most adorable little Iliana in Mexico! It brings back very sweet memories for me.

I love it!

Iliana Rose is little boring for me since Rose is my mn, but Margaret Iliana has class.

This may be how you're pronouncing it, but I don't think so. In Mexico it is pronounced EE-LEE-ah-nah. those first two syllables get about the same accent. hehe. I've been trying to figure it out and I've said it over and over. Friends are looking at me oddly now.

One of my favorite names, I LOVE it! Except I spell it as Ileana : )

Rose isn't really my style but sounds nice with it, and Margaret Iliana isn't bad.

Just a note, I pronounce the -ana part as AWN-a not AN-a

IÂ´m not sure if I like this name or not. But I agree with kappeash that it flows well with an one syllable mn like Rose.

I really like it as well. I think it is different and refreshing. I think it would go best as a fn with a one syllable mn like you have it with Iliana Rose
