[Opinions] Re: Random BA's
Adonis - somehow I have a hard time picturing this on a baby.
Asa Jericho - I love Asa! Jericho is a GP.
Bridge Davis - I've heard of bridging a river, but how do you Bridge a Davis? I like Davis though, nice alternative to David, although it's a bit surnamey.Calloway - County. B/c we have one in my state.Canon Trevor - Canon: an ecclesiastical rule or law enacted by a council or other competent authority and, in the Roman Catholic Church, approved by the pope. Well, at least the pope approves. Trevor is nmsaa.Kindle Blayne James - I had a horrid moment when I thought that said Kindle Blayze. I realized my mistake and the moment passed, yet the horror remains. At least James is nice.Littleton - isn't this a town in Colorado?Merrick Cooper - Merrick is kind of cool, actually. Cooper is the name of my old neighbor's dog. (OT: the neighbor's name was Maple (a male.))Nova Jay - I kind of like Nova as a GP for a girl. It's the name of a PBS show about science where I live, though. And I went to high school with a total loser named Jay.Odis Zeus - Odis reminds me of the dog, Odie, from Garfield, and also my grandmother's ex-husbands old dog, Otis. I actually like the name Otis, though. Zeus is a little over the top and I think it sounds a bit like a sneeze.Phoenix Cole - what's left over after the phoenix bursts into flame.Redge Eric - Scooby-Doo: Raggy, ron't ret roo rear re redge of rat rountain!Rupeyard Calvin - If it was Rudyard I would be a little more accepting of this. Calvin is okay though.Shi - is this prn. Shy or She? Because shy is a personality trait, and those generally shouldn't be used as names (I feel it's sort of an imposition on the kid) and she is just a crappy name especially for a boy.Sterling - silver. All I can see when I look at this name are rows upon rows of monogrammed forks.GIRLS
Bindi - cute.Ceres - reminds me of cereal.Decimber - December is one of my GPs, but Decimber's parents are just plain guilty. Of illiteracy, that is.Gracious - sister to Goodness and Great Balls of Fire.Grayson Alana - Grayson is also a county in our state. It's next door to my home county, and when I was in high school people would transfer in from Grayson Co. High either because they were foster kids and had been moved or they had been expelled for drugs at their old school.Harper Jayne - I love Harper on a girl but only because of Harper Lee (author of To Kill a Mockingbird.) And if you're not using it to honor her, then don't use it. I love Harper Jane, though. (That y is unnecessary, imo.)Haven Victoria - I hate Haven, but Victoria Haven would have been ok.Jersey Adriana - Jersey, as in that sweaty shirt you pull off and toss in the corner of a filthy locker room after a basketball game. Liberty Rayne - Liberty is GP. I hate Rayne. She could go by Libby, though, that would be kind of cute.Lyric - I don't get why people like this as a name.Nirvana Ciamfra - Nirvana the band or nirvana the state of enlightenment? And what's Ciamfra? Looks sort of Gaelic. Whaddayaknow, a couple of Irish Buddhists living in Seattle.Vega - Vegas, vague, vegetables.PASSWORDED
Fisher - I knew a dog by this name, too.Greenleigh - eww. Did they get this off a soap opera, perchance?Sailor - You know the old sea shanty "What shall we do with the drunken sailor?" Just wait until this kid starts going to fraternity parties.Willow - I quite like Willow.
