I was at a restraunt today and our waitress was named Tempest.

I've never actually heard it on a person, and I *think* I like it. What do you think?

Tempest Bledsoe was an actor in The Cosby Show. Personally, I find the name to be a bit "stripperish" especially since it is very similiar to tempting.

The actress, who played Vanessa, if I remember, spells her name Tempestt.

And there actually was a famous burlesque queen (old-fashioned stripper) named Tempest Storm.

Oh yah, you're right. She spells it Tempestt. I did actually know that there was a Burlesque queen with that name but I figured it was so obscure that it wouldn't have mattered when it actually came to using the name. Just the fact that it was "stripperish" was enough.

I love it because I love storms (though not really the name Storm!) but it never gets good review on here. =/ I'd probably only consider it as a middle name anyway.
