I used to know a few (3) Vivanas when I lived in Sicily but, now that I live in America, I only know one (and she is from Milan). I think it's beautiful and much prettier than Vivian (I tend to prefer the -ana ending version of names if there is one like Liliana vs. Lilian).

I don`t know any Viviana (I´m from Germany), but I think it`s an okay name, but I would prefer Vivian.

Viviana is nice, but in genreal I tend to prefer the "non-ana" versions of names if they are available. So Vivian / Vivien is my favorite variant of the name.

Vivie is a darling nn for either form. The word "vivacious" immediately pops to mind, so that's how I would imagine a character to be.

P.S. Thank you for putting the name (albeit with a typo) in your title line. It makes if much easier to find later on. I'm more likely to read a thread if I'm not teased with a "WDYTO / what do you think of . . . " title. I find those rather annoying.
