Message: "Keane" - Behind the Name

I really love the name Keane. It has a lot of personal meanings attached to it and I think the sound and look of the name is beautiful. I have always loved it for a boy, but recently I have wondered if it would be better for a girl (because of the meanings attached to it, etc.).

Two questions:

1st- What would you think if you met a little girl named Keane,

2nd- Can you think of any pretty middle names to make Keane a bit better for a girl?

Sorry, but to me it's a boy's name. It doesn't sound feminine at all.

I've always liked Keane on a boy.

On a girl, it isn't my favorite, but let's see...

I automatically think of the band (which is comprised of all males, I believe) so I think of it as masculine. And I prefer the Cian or Kian spelling a little bit, though the former would likely be mispronounced. Keane just has a trendy-ish "look" to me. Also makes me think of the word "keen". But I really don't see it as feminine at all, so on a girl it would seem even more trendy.
