[Opinions] Emory/Emery
What are your opinions on this name for a boy? I've been hearing it more and more often and it's at least sparked my interest, so to speak. Do you prefer Emory or Emery? Do you think it works on a boy or is it best on a girl? Finally, are there any first or middle names you think would go well with it?Thanks in advance!

Emery is on my list, for a boy. Although I like either spelling, I suppose. for some reason the O spelling brings super italian men to mind, and I am not italian.I suppose it could work for either gender, but in my mind it's male.

Why?To say you dislike it is one thing but why is it not "suitable"? I'm just curious.

I perfer Emory, and both spellings on a boy. I also like Emyr and Emre (on boys) and Emer (on a girl). The combo-making part of my brain is not functioning atm, sorry.

Though it is listed as masculine, it sounds very feminine to me, so I think it works better for a girl, though I'm not fond of it. It reminds me of a nail file aka an emory board. Emery would be better in that respect. I think the sound itself is nice enough.Charlotte Emery

Emery Olivia
