[Opinions] Beatrix or Beatrice?
Which of these names do you prefer and why?

At present, I prefer Beatrix, but both are in my top five.
Love both, but I think Beatrix has more spunk.

Beatrice
Beatrice rolls off my tongue more readily and easily than Beatrix, which seems to get stuck in my throat. Beatrice just sounds prettier, IMO.

I like Beatrix a bit more, but I like both.
I think Beatrix is sweet, and it makes me think of Beatrix Potter, but the "trix" part bothers me, as well as the possible nn Trixie, which I really dislike. I adore Beatrice, however. It just sounds more elegant and sophisticated to me than Beatrix, but it can also suit a girl-next-door type personality, IMO.
Beatrice
for the sole reason of the Italian pronunciation lessening the impact of whatever it is about Beatrix and Beatrice that bothers me so very much. It's really high on my list of names that I dislike. Something about its sound has always rubbed me the wrong way.

I prefer Beatrice, looks alone it's more appealing.
Beatrix, because the 'x' ending makes the name sound stronger. Plus Beatrice always makes me think of Junie B. Jones. I used to read those books when I was younger, which may be another reason that I like Beatrix better.
I really don't care for either, but I do know several people who love Beatrix "Trixie" but loathe Beatrice.
Ignore sorry

Beatrice, because the softer look (and sound) of the c appeals more to me. It is also my grandmother's name though so I'm a bit bias:)
