I have a soft spot for Glynis as it's like a combination of Glynn and Glenys (both family names). Glynn was actually named after Glenys "Glen" (Glenys hates Glenys and prefers to be called Glen). I just like that it's different but not completely out there. The 'y' (i) sound makes it more feminine and softer sounding than Glenys.

To me Glynis/Glenys have more substance than Glenna. Though I think Glenna is cute. I don't like Glenda.

I had never heard of Glynis before. I agree with you about the sparkly and sweet sound, but I think I would spell it Glenys. I like Glenna, but Glenda reminds me too much of the Wizard of Oz, even if that was Glinda.
I actually like the name Glen (or Glenne) for a girl. A little weird, maybe, but I like it.

I heard this name used when I was younger, and I always thought it was weird but now something about it really appeals to me. I don't like Glenda or Glenna...not sure about Glenys.

Sorry, but I don't really like how it looks and sounds. I can tollerate Glenn.
Of the other names you list, the only one I like is Glenda, barring the Wizard of Oz connection (which I can't decide whether it's a bonus or a drawback).

I know a Glenys and she's lovely, so I have a good association with the name and all associated ones. They can sound a bit dated but a probably ready for a comeback, like names such as Beatrice and Josephine, etc

Glynis sounds nice to my ears, but I don't like the way it looks.
same for Glenys. Glenda, all I see is the Wizard of Oz. My aunts name is Glenna Marie, she was named after my great grandfather Glenn, I believe. I don't really care for it.

Glynis is a nice name; I like it. As you say, it's definitely 'sweet'. To me it's firmly an older name, though - I can't really imagine a Glynis younger than middle age.

Lol--The Court Jester is actually from the 50s ('56, IIRC), silly! I love it and Danny Kaye both, to the point that I've been working on memorizing bits from the pellet with the poison scene. :)

I really dislike Glynis. It sounds like it ought to be the name of a drugstore to me. Other -is names, I love, but this one just doesn't sound attractive at all. Same with Glenys, though I think Glenna is all right, if not my style. Glenda doesn't sound correct to me, because I'm a Wizard of Oz fan, lol. Glenda always looks erroneous!
