Noa is a teacher at the school where Ruslan's little brother goes to. One day he was picking his brother up from school and he met Noa. The two of them started talking about his brother at first, but they soon found out they had much more to talk about. The decided to go out for a drink that weekend. They really liked each other, but Noa was a bit concerned with the age difference between them. She told him that he didn't want to get involved with anyone who was 7 years younger. Ruslan was unimpressed by this and told her that it doesn't really matter how old someone is in years. What mattered according to him was how mature someone really is, and how well they fitted together. After going out for drinks and dinner for a couple more times, Noa could no longer deny what was really going on; they weren't becoming just good friends, but they were both in love with each other. She told him she was willing to give it a go.

Daniel and Cata met in the army - they both served in Iraq from 2003 until 2005. Daniel was a Marine and Cata was in the infantry. They began dating while on leave during Christmas of 2004, and requested transfers soon after. Before they were granted, Daniel was shot in the knee, and he had to leave the Marines. He spent a month in the hospital, and was in a rehab center for two more months. While Daniel was in the rehab center, Cata's transfer was granted, and she moved to a base in Germany. Daniel joined her on the base once he was out of the rehab center, and they were married in December of 2006. Cata was injured in a demonstration on the base the following April, and she was discharged from the army. They moved back to the states in May and have settled down in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. Cata is in school to become a police officer, as her injury was not permanently crippling, and Daniel plans to become a martial arts instructor.

Wil is now working as a social worker who specializes in domestic and family therapy and counselling. Lydia graduated with a degree in Sports Medicine and hopes to go on to another school to become a physical therapist. However, at the moment, she is working as a riding instructor and competes on her horses.
Wil and Lydia dated all throughout college and married three weeks ago. They have just returned from their honeymoon to Australia, which they both thoroughly enjoyed. They now live in a small two-bedroom apartment.

Immediately the two men realized the attraction between them was still there despite the years that have passed since college. Elijah moved his private practice into the Tacoma area to be closer to Darren who was the director of neurology at a prominent medical center in the area. Eventually, the two decided to move in together and had a lovely civil ceremony for family and friends. It wasn't long afterwards that they begin to talk of children. Both agreed that they would love to become fathers, so Darren and Elijah began to look into becoming foster parents with the hope of eventually adopting domestically.
