[Opinions] Gavin, Elliott, and Sebastian.
Are names recently added to my PNL.what do you think?
I know Gavin has been in the top 1000 (I haven't looked at it's position lately, so I can't remember exactly where) for a while. but that doesn't really bother me.I'm sure Elliott is pretty far up in the rankings too, unless I'm crazy.

I've never really liked the sound of Gavin regardless of popularity.
I do love Eliott, and Sebastian (especially the nn Bastian) a boy in my German class picked this as his German name.

I really like Gavin and Sebastian, the latter of which is in my top 10. I don't really like Elliot that much... it's just not pleasant to my ears.
I know Gavin has been in the top 1000 I really don't think that you should be concerned about this. Anything after 150/200 is getting rare, even if it's in the top 1000. For example, Rhianna is 784... but it's not like they're overwhelming the country. However, looking at list, it says that Gavin is currently 38 and .4% of children born in 2006 have that name. About 4 million babies were born... so about 16,000 kids were named Gavin this year. In a country of almost 350 mil, that's not many at all :-) I think it'll be okay. It's really the top 10/20 that you see everywere.edit: fixed spelling

True, when you think about the numbers it isn't much. but when I look at the list and see it's so high in the charts it makes me say "eh"Come to think of it, I think I only know maybe four people named Gavin. one of which is a baby spelled Gavyn.

I adore Gavin and Elliott, but I hate Sebastian. The sound of it just makes me cringe.

They're all nice enough though I do prefer the Elliot spelling. The only one I could see myself using is Gavin. It has a nice sound.
