[Opinions] Moxie
I've been thinking about Moxie. It's a GP of mine, but sometimes I think I could use it as a nn for a longer given name. But what name could plausibly produce Moxie as a nn?

Moxie Crimefighter?

You could sort of combine two names to get it as a nickname... Like Marie Roxanne "Moxie"

Sorry, but I think it's a terrible name. Aren't there Moxie tampons? I think there are, so that doesn't endear me to the name. I also think of Amoxycillin.

A few years ago my mother had a boy from Africa in her school building named Moquse prn like Moxie. I kind of like it on the right kid.

the only thing I think of is one of the celebs that has a child named Moxie Crimefighter. but I can't think of who it is. yes, it's cute, no I don't think it's really a good choice for a name.

Amoxycillin?lol. I think if you must use Moxie as a nn at all, (personally I think it is silly and obnoxious, like a name for a dog or cat) it would have to be from the kid's personality rather than her given name.

Me too, and I'm allergic to it :-(

sadly, this was also my first thought. :(

Sorry, I don't like it. It makes me think of amoxicillin.

I've always liked the word too, never thought about using it as a name or nn though it's the name of a town in Eastern Washington that I drive through sometimes. The only name I could think of that sound remotely like Moxie is Maxine/Maxene. But I think it could be a nn for any energenic little kid (as in "_____ has moxie").
