Linden is awesome - this spelling only. Lindon leaves me cold, and Lyndon seems too feminine. I think Linden could be the next big name, since it conforms to the "-en" trend that 's been so popular of late.

I like Lyndon for a boy. Linden for a girl.

I love Linden on a boy! this is the spelling I prefer, as it's the only spelling I've ever seen used.

Linden sounds feminine to me... Lyndon is much more masculine, but I think that's because of the US president, not because the name itself is really much different. Lindon could work well for either, I think.

Well, we're all aware of Lyndon Johnson who was undoubtedly a male. Nevertheless, because this name is so close to Linda, I think that it is too feminine sounding. If I had to pick one spelling, I'd choose Linden.
