Help[Games] Darkest Congrats Round Two
Welcome to round two of Darkest's Congrats. Five years have passed since round one, and all but one of you have at least one new child. Tai Angel and Darkest have the most children, at eight, while sarah lee and Anna Kate have the least, at two. For this round, you each got a random event based on the color you chose. Some of them are serious and resulted in a death in your family, while some were just random life stuff. Whatever you got, write, write, write!
For this round, everyone needs to write at least a paragraph about something that happened in the family, in addition to any writing required by the random event. You can write about the new births, your oldest's first few days of kindergarten, a new kitchen sink, or the flower bed, I don't care, just write. For a couple of you, I asked specific questions in addition to the random event. You can count that as your writing if you so desire.
Two of you adopted children this round as a result of your random event in round one. I named those children for you, but you can feel free to give nicknames.
All of you have numbers beside your posting name, and some of you have words or asterisks. Those are for my reference - ignore them, but don't remove them. If for some reason you don't have the numbers, please alert me to that. Thank you.

Recently, Evan's father died. We were all extremely devastated. Evan hasn't been himself lately, because he was really close to his dad. Annie, Gracie, and little Evan were really confused when we told them that grandpa wasn't coming back. They still don't completely understand what happened. The Daniels family sadly grieves over the loss of Isabella. Isabella had lung problems ever since she was born. When she was two years old she was diagnosed with asthma. While in Baguada, Dave, along with nearly 100 other journalists, covered the government's siege of a hotel in which there were rumored to be rebel troops. The government arrested all of the journalists (including Dave) for obstruction of justice. When queried, the police chief (?) replied, "We will free them eventually."
Antonia's response, naturally, was to freak out and write a bunch of even more inflammatory pieces. After about a month, Baguada's actions were so widely condemned by most of the civilized world that the government freed all of the prisoners and issued a formal (and sketchy) apology. Dave remained in Baguada for another three months while his passport was undergoing examination, collecting film but staying quiet, and returned to Italy as soon as he could. The documentary, which detailed the conditions before and after the arrest and the deplorable condition of the justice system and the state prisons, was received very well.

Cora and Ayla were walking home from school when they found a little kitten freezing to death in a box. It was smaller than it should be, and looked like it hadn't eaten in weeks. We brought it to the vet, and he told us the kitten (who we found out was a boy) hadn't eaten in quite a while and probably didn't have a home. We nursed it back to health and hoped for the best. Cora and Ayla were walking home from school when they found a little kitten freezing to death in a box. It was smaller than it should be, and looked like it hadn't eaten in weeks. We brought it to the vet, and he told us the kitten (who we found out was a boy) hadn't eaten in quite a while and probably didn't have a home. We nursed it back to health and hoped for the best. He's now 4 months old (approx.) and a very active little guy. Cora and Ayla decided to name him Connor.
Tasha and Casey came as a little bit of a surprise for us. We had a feeling we would have more kids, even after Joel came, but we never expected another set of twin girls. Joel feels a little out of place sometimes, with all the girls in the house and all.

Granted, it was not without its many difficulties, but overall life with their new children was wonderful. However, their blissful state soon came to a close when they found out Paula was pregnant again- with twins. They were completely caught off guard; their triplets were only 10 months old! Rohan just turned five and al he wanted was a puppy. He really loves animals and would do anything for a dog on his own. Since Ava's birth Allie and Cohen had three other children. They had twin boys who they named Zane and Kieran and they are already three years old! Two days ago, Allie also gave birth to a healthy, wonderful girl who they named Ainsley Winter. Before she was born, they had decided to name her Ainsley Roxanne, but just before she was born the snow start ed to fall down the skye. Since both Allie and Cohen love the winter, they decided to gave her the middlename Winter.
Cohen and Allie would love to have more children besids they five they already got (yeah, Allie count Ava as her own daughter). Allie got pneumonia and is really ill so they want to wait for more children and take care of the five they already got. But one day, they want atleast another one...

On January 18, 2010, Daniel Blaise Blackwood was born. Daniel was born with Cerebal Palsy. The family was shocked, but Cata and Daniel (Senior) treated the situation with the same dry determination they had treated the circumstances surrounding Madeline's existance. Daniel is a happy, energetic child, and he would most certainly have been just as much of a handful as his older siblings had he not been disabled.
After Daniel was born, Cata was even more careful to protect herself against another pregnancy. Alas, it was not to be, and she got pregnant once again, this time with twins. By this point, her coworkers were becoming quite amused with Cata's inability not to conceive, and Daniel was becoming concerned Cata would decide to take more drastic measures.
On June 25, 2012, Cata gave birth to Justin Cedric and Kathryn Helena Blackwood. Justin was dubbed "Jace" (jayc) by Daniel, who hated the name Justin but went along with it to humor his frustrated wife.
