Kane and Sophie's marriage is having a hard time, what happens?

Kane and Sophie are very excited to welcome a little boy to their family! Simon Riley Foster was born on December 8th! Simon has his daddy's dark hair and he has lovely greenish gray eyes. Simon is a bit small for his age, but isn't afraid to let everyone know when he's unhappy. Sophie was forced to take some time off from her riding while she was pregnant with Simon and after he was born, while Kane was able to carry on with his career. A few weeks after Simon's birth, Sophie got mad at Kane because she thought that he wasn't doing his part in taking care of Simon; however, Sophie didn't say anything. About a month later, she and Kane got into a huge argument over a little thing. Sophie's true feelings came out during the argument. Kane hadn't known that she was feeling upset with him until that point. He quickly apologized and has tried to make it up to Sophie by being extra attentive to both her and Simon. Sophie still hasn't forgiven him fully, but Kane is close.

Jay and Robyn were thrilled when they discovered they were pregnant, and shocked when they found out it was twins. The twins were born by c-section at 36 weeks. Although born a little early the seemed to be healthy - at first. A few days later Kelly started turning blue and having trouble breathing. It was discovered she had trouble with her heart. She was rushed into emergency surgery. She survived the surgery, but the doctors warned she was still in critical condition.
Colin, who was doing great, was allowed to leave the hospital after a week. Jay closed down the Animal Hospital temporarily, so he could spend all his time between helping with Colin and visiting Kelly.
At 16 days old Kelly was rushed back into surgery, but sadly she did not survive. The Ross and Hughes families were both devistated by the loss of the first granddaughter on both sides. All the Hughes flew in from North Dakota for Kelly's funeral. Robyn's mother Estelle stayed in New Hampshire to help with Colin and support Robyn during her grieving, she'll stay as long as she's needed. Jay re-opened the Animal Hospital and though it was difficult he went back to work.

Kane and Poppy have moved into their first house together! They were renting a small one together but saved long and hard to put a deposit on this one. It is a 4 bedroomed semi near to where they are now. Also, they have had a baby boy.

Rhiannon and Isaac found out they were expecting a baby.They were so excited.They waited until they heard the baby heartbeat to tell everyone. When they told the family about the news everyone was happy.
Rhiannon had severe case of morning sickness.She was hospitalized twice for her get fluids by I.V.That lasted for 17 weeks.Now she trying to enjoy her pregrancy.She feeling better.So pregrancy was good and everything was going alright.She had her baby shower.At 35 weeks she had preclamisia (sp)and doctor put her on bed rest to see that helped. At 37 weeks her water broke.The baby had not turn yet.She went to hospital.They had to montier her because she had preclamisia.The doctor tried to turn the baby but the baby would not turn.The baby heartbeat was dropping.They rushed for emergrancy c-section. They got baby out.They did not know what they were having.The doctor said it was boy and they were so happy to have a son.He weighed 5lb and 12 oz.He was healthy.Rhiannon still had high blood pressure.They kept her in hospital for week until they thought she was ok go home.They let the baby stay with her.They were so happy to finally come home.Rhiannon had to take easy and her mother and his mother came by to help.

Kane and Yasmin conceived there first child very soon after going off of birth control. They were so excited to become parents that they had the nursery finished before Yasmin was even 4 months along. Julian Parker Reid (aka Jules) was born on December 1, 2006 at 4:30 PM. He was 6 pounds, 11 ounces and 20 inches long at birth.
The new family was just settling in and becoming comfortable as a family of three when Yasmin received some surprising news. She was pregnant with twins (and not on purpose, lol)! Rowan Walker Duncan and Phoebe Eleanor Margaret were born prematurely on September 25, 2007 at 2:31 AM and 2:40 AM. Rowan was 5 pounds, 9 ounces and 18 inches long at birth. Phoebe was 5 pounds, 13 ounce and 19 inches at birth. Both were healthy and able to come home from the hospital within days.

Through the weeks the baby got more bruised and at 33 weeks the doctor decided to risk it and take both babies out. When the bruised baby came out, he was immediately put in a humidity crib and taken to have a blood test. The baby, then named Rowan, was diagnosed with a bad case of Von Willibrans disease. A disease where there arn't enough blood paletes in the skin which means the person bruises easily. However, it was extremely rare to have a baby inside the womb get bruised. VW may seem like it's not that bad but if Rowan's head gets bruised he will immediately pass out and may possibly die. Rowan will have to take pills all his life to make sure his VW doesn't get any worse.
Apart from this little drama both boys, Rowan and Riley, were born on December 2. Riley was born 2.2 pounds and Rowan was born 2.0 pounds. Rowan is slowly losing his bruises and they will soon be able to come home.

Freya had gotten pregnant by accident and the two of them decided that they ought to marry before the child was born. So they did. When Fallon was born things were not easy. Freya really wanted to go back to work as soon as possible, but Declan thought she should stay home longer to take care of the baby. They got into a huge argument over that. Freya was willing to go to work only part-time if Declan did the same. Declan said that he should work full-time, because otherwise he'd lose his job and because he made a lot more money than she did anyway. Freya was not happy, and she thought that she didn't really know the guy she married. They were only married because of Fallon. Declan had been thinking as well, if they had gotten married for the right reasons. One night he asked her why they were married, she said she didn't see any reason besides having a child together. They both agreed that wasn't going to be enough to get them through life together. They ended up divorcing. Fallon was to spent her first few months with Freya, but after that they wanted to share her time. She's be with Declan in the holidays and the rest of the time with Freya.

The couple were certainly not planning on starting their family so soon, and this unexpected surprise put a noticeable strain on their relationship. Christian had just gained a starting position as a midfielder on the Revolution and was quickly becoming a fan favorite -- especially among the ladies. Sophie was a month away from graduating and had already been approached by the Boston Symphony to play for them. Christian and Sophie were worried that having a child would throw a wrench into their plans for the future, but both agreed that there was no way they could give their baby up. Tension in the apartment was high, and Christian and Sophie began arguing about the pettiest things, such as doing the laundry or making the bed. Their arguments grew so heated that Christian actually moved out and took up residence at a hotel when Sophie was five months pregnant. (The tabloids had a field day with this; rumors of an illicit affair between Christian and an up-and-coming actress surfaced, though of course there was no truth in them.) These circumstances only made both of them more miserable, although neither one realized that this was the cause at the time.
The couple hardly corresponded with each other until Sophie went into labor. She called Christian immediately, and he rushed over to the apartment -- no small feat in Boston traffic. Sophie's labor progressed remarkably quickly, and she very nearly gave birth in the car on the way to the hospital.
An hour later, Christian and Sophie welcomed their son Finn Stephen into the world. Holding his baby boy, Christian saw all that he would have missed out on and immediately regretted not having been there for Sophie during her pregnancy. The couple realized that they still loved each other immensely and that they were meant to be together. When Finn was cleared by the hospital to go home, Christian went with them. Now the family is stronger than it ever was, and Christian and Sophie are enjoying their son like every new parent. Christian even brought Finn to practice one day to show him off to his teammates. The couple are still trying to find a balance between work and home life, but they know that if they stay committed, they will make it work.

Isabella and Kai are proud to announce the birth of their first son, Tristin Riley Bulter. Tristin came in to the world via c-section and weighed in at 9lb 15oz.
Isabella had planned on having a natural birth but after 6 hours in labor she had still not progressed much.
The docotors decided to try and help things along and broke her waters. It was then that they noticed meconium and the baby's heartbeat started to slow. They quickly whisked her away to have an emergency c-section.
After a short stay in the NICU, Isabella and Kai were finally able to take their son home.
Thankfully both mother and baby are now doing well.
