[Opinions] Godiva and Lilah
Just curious what everyone's opinions are. Is Godiva too big for anyone's britches? I like the nn "Diva" Of course I'd never use this name. But I still want to know.
Is Lilah getting trendy?

Godiva is really, really, really unfortunate. Lilah is getting a little trendy, yes. I adore Lila (LIE-lah), though, spelled thusly.

Godiva is very 'drag queen' too much. Either way, it's just way too over the top for a person, imo.I hate the extra 'h' on the end of Lila. It strikes me as a bit trendy, as it looks like a nn for Delilah, which I do see as somewhat trendy. Lila (also prn. LYE-lah) is lovely, though.

I like Godiva...it's so sweet and feminine to me but it makes me think of chocolate (as in Godiva chocolates). Lilah is sweet. I've always liked it...but I prefer Layla.

Godiva is cool, but I can't really imagine it on a real child/woman. It just reminds me of Lady Godiva. The "god" beginning and "diva" ending don't really help.
Lilah is ok, but cutesy. Can't really picture a 50-years old Lilah.

I think Godiva is lovely, but yeah, when it comes to NNs it's either Diva or God :P. I think Godiva would be a lovely sister to Lovisa. I'm beginning to hear Lilah more, but I wouldn't call it trendy.
