[Opinions] Coraline
I heard this name first from a Neil Gaiman book, but I like it as an alternative to Caroline, and also it's honorific because Corra is a family name. I think I like it better for my sister, Adelle, to use, but I thought I'd ask about it.WDYT of Coraline, and any combo suggestions? And do you prn it -leen or -line? I say -line, but I think it's pretty either way.

I prefer Coralie, which is an established name (so long as it's prounounced Coral-ee and not Cora-lee).
I love Caroline.

I love Coraline. I've also read the Neil Gaiman book, and I've loved the name ever since. It's such a pretty alternative to Caroline, which I don't care much for, and a more sophistocated alternative to Coralie, which I do like but it's always felt a little bit too delicate and frilly. And I just loved the character in the book :-) I've actually been to a book signing of Neil Gaiman a few years ago (around the time when Coraline was released), and the guy who was interviewing him asked which was the proper way to pronounce it. Gaiman himself said it "cora-line".
