I think it's a lovely name, much neglected. It evokes the medieval royal mistress, Rosamund Clifford, of course.
I used to have a work colleague whose names are Margaret Rosamund (pronounced Rozzamund). She uses her middle name but is known as Ros.
Rosalind is one of my top favourites. It is, however, used slightly more often than Rosamund (which is, incidentally, Elizabeth Taylor's middle name - a beautiful combination for a beautiful lady!).
