Season greetings from the Mitchell family!
Our house has been filled with energy these past few weeks. We're all very excited for christmas. This year our whole family is gathering at our house for christmas dinner. We have lots to do before they all get here! But here's a little update on each member of the family just for you. Jack has had alot of success in this past year. He was just made a partner at the law firm he works at. We're all very proud of him. This summer, he thought Leo to fish. They know go fishing every weekend they can. They also plan to try ice fishing in the new year. Riley is also doing great. She is still a stay-at-home-mom but has taken on a very big project. She is making little teddy bears and small games for sick children in a near-by hospital. All the children love helping her out. Once a month, she and the children bring the toys and bears to the hospital. Leo is now in grade 3. He's doing very well in school and is playing on the grade 3 and 4 basket-ball team. He also plays on a soccer team in the summer. He is very much like his dad and loves to go fishing with him. He's also very protective of his little sisters. He hope to be a lawyer one day, just like his dad. Asher is now in grade 1. He's also doing very well in school, but has some difficulties with reading. We like to spend a few hours a day reading with him hoping this will help, even Leo has started to read with him. Asher loves to play soccer in the summer and hopes that next year his dad will teach him how to fish also. Emma is now in senior kindergarden and has started to love school. She loves going because she gets to see her friends every day. She's made lots of new friends at school and around our neighbourhood.

Hi everyone,
Our family has been doing great so far. Nerie and Rafe are both off to college. They're still at home for the weekends, but we don't see them much anymore. They keep bringing home decent grades, so I'm happy with that situation. Jazzy is doing a lot better than she was before. She thinks it's fun to go to school now, I think it's because she has so many good friends there now. She's at an age that she has a new crush a week :) Thora and Calla look so alike and even do the same things (they're both swimming, playing football and taking guitar lessons), but they are very different. Calla is more outgoing than Thora, but Thora is more tactful usually. Little Gabe is getting pretty big as well and is doing well. He likes playing and making a mess. Every day he comes home covered in mud (sometimes I wonder how on earth he manages to get himself so dirty every time). He quite a charming little boy, and he gets spoiled a bit by his older brother and sisters.
I've included a family photo, so you call all so what our family looks like. I asked the kids to dress up 'Christmassy' :)
