I prefer just Jacob, but I actually think Jacoby is quite nice. I've also heard it pronounced 'ja-COH-bee', but I think 'JAK-oh-bee' sounds better.

shuold've been under the original message, sorryThere is a player on the Boston Red Sox by the name of Jacoby Ellsbury. I don't really care for it and the announcers always butcher anyway and call him Jacob. He is a fantastic baseball player however.
