I saw a girl named Bevelyn the other day. What is your opinion of this name?I prefer Evelyn. Bevelyn to me is like Evelyn with a B. But I don't know what to think. I think it could be ok. But then I think is it someone trying to be trendy. I don't know. So I decided to post about the name.Give me your opinions please. Thank you.

Like Evelyn with a B or Evelyn and Beverly smushed together. Rather unattractive, imo. :-/

It's horrid, reminds me of "bevvy", and has a trendoid -lyn ending. Evelyn is nice, though.

It's like a combination of Evelyn and Beverly. Plus, it seems kind of surnamey, like it could be spelled Bevlin and be a surname.I don't like it at all. I guess it works, though, as a first name; I don't see how it couldn't.

Bevelling . . .. . . is what they do to the edges of frames, mirrors etc to give them that layered look.That's all I can think of when I see Bevelyn!
