Would go with her classmates Aiden, Jaiden, Caiden, Braiden, Zaiden, Haiden and probably Paiden, Taiden, Shaiden etc (I wonder if there would ever be a class just made up of -aiden names of various spellings :) ).Tis very trendy, made up and sounds like 'laden' (potential teasing if she's on the large side). Liadan, Lydia or Leda would be so much better.

LOL, I warned my mom that her classes in the future will all have rhyming names. She shrugged it off at first, then she saw the top ten names for the year.

Too trendy for me.

Looks like a misspelling of Liadan.

Quadritto,I actually read it as Liadan at first. Laidan seems made up and too much like the trendy Jaidan (Jayden, I've seen it spelt that way) but Liadan is a name with a base as well.

I have the same preference you do. Laidan would be for a girl.
