I was thrown off by the BtN pronunciation as well. I say HA-na-LOR-uh, and I quite like it like that, although I like yours as well. As for the name itself, it's not my favorite, but I do like it and would enjoy seeing it on someone else's child. It's pretty and feminine but not too girly or cutesy.
