[Opinions] Rosemary?
What are your thoughts on the name Rosemary? I've always liked it as a MN, but have now started considering it as a first name. Also, MN suggestions?

I think it's lovely. It has that "Old World" charm to it, that I quite like. Here are some combo suggestions:Rosemary Hannah
Rosemary Eve
Rosemary Isabel
Rosemary Pearl
Rosemary Faye
Rosemary Ava
Rosemary Clara
Rosemary Beth
Rosemary Jane
Rosemary Kate
Rosemary Alice

It is my mother's name. I like it. She doesn't have a mn, though.

Rosemary is one of my favorite girls' names! I think it's beautiful and I love the nn Rosie (or possibly Romy). I hope to name a daughter this someday.

I agree, it is very nice as a MN. It's my cousin's daughter's mn, her first name is Madison. I think it' something like her great grandma (on her other side) is Rose and then our grandma (well, her great grandma) is Mary.

I love it to bits. It's so pretty, but it also makes me picture a strong woman. And I have an endless supply of (way too cutesy) NNs for it (Romy, Rose, Roo, Ro, etc.).My favorites are Rosemary Olivia, Rosemary Hope, and Rosemary Carys.

I've just recently begun to like it.It seems like a name that my SO might agree on. It's very pretty. As for a middle name... Rosemary Eileen has struck my fancy.

It's one of the few Rose names I like. Although I don't like the herb and it gets Scarborough Fair stuck in my head. But it has a pretty sound.

Rosemary definitely reminds me of "Rosemary's Baby". It's also nms, I prefer Rosie or Rosemarie. But hey, it's not a bad name if you want to use it.

I had a friend named Rosemary who turned out to be very promiscuous. I also think of Rosemary's Baby, and the spice it's NMS.

Love it. It was the name of my first babydoll, given to me when I was ~18mo old. I still have her. :-)I like the combos Rosemary Lysanne and Rosemary Marguerite.
