[Opinions] Ebba?
Opinions on Ebba? I'm starting to really like it, but I think I would prefer it as a nickname for something. So I started thinking, and couldn't come with much, except for maybe Elisabeth. Then I found Ebba listed in a Baby Name Book as a form of Eve. So, that made me start to think about Ebba as a nn for Evelina/Avelina. WDYT? Is it too far-fetched? Or is Ebba just generally to wierd?

To me, Ebba sounds like someone with a stuffy nose saying Emma.

I love the name Ebba, but I prefer it on its own. Ebba sounds fine as a nickname for Evelina but I do think using it as a nickname for Avelina is too far-fetched.

Ebba is a great name to have, i should know! I have found references to it being an Old English form of Eve too, so i reckon although Evelina might be a stretch, it could be pulled off.
What about Ebony?

I think Ebba is very nice, but have the same problem finding a longer name for it. I'm not a big fan of Evelina/Avelina, so I don't really like Ebba as a nn for it. Elisabeth is nice with Ebba. Elsbeth works even better I think. I can't think of anything else at the moment.
