Our family dynamic has certainly changed dramatically over the last five years. The kids are growing up so quickly, and in fact, our eldest, Ava, is now happily married to her high school sweetheart, Austin. She and Austin met when she was a freshman and he a junior in high school. They hit it off from the start and dated throughout her last four years in school. When he proposed a few weeks after high school graduation, she, of course, completely in love, immediately said 'yes'. They were married nearly a year later in a gorgeous, evening church ceremony that was like magic.
And now, John and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our first grandchild! Ariella Jasmine was welcomed into the world by her adoring parents and is the pride and joy of their lives. She's such a sweet baby girl who loves to be held and whose smile lights up the room.
