I've been thinking about this name lately. I like the fact that it was that of a female scholar. I have only ever known one Bruria (broo-ree-uh), and she was very clever, so well-named. To the general public the name sounds like brewer or brewery. I would not use it myself in a hurry. But it's certainly different, and it's good to see that it's not entirely neglected.
