I think it's incredibly unappealing. First of all, I don't care for virtue names. but secondly, it is far too themey for my taste.

It's too matchy/themey. Triplets and other multiples are individuals and should be named as such.
As others have pointed out, if you wanted to echo 1 Corinthians 13:13 here, you got it wrong. It should be Faith, Hope and Charity or Love. Honestly, I wouldn't do this. I think Faith and Hope would grow tired of hearing that their sister is the greatest of the three.

agree with Array

Much as I love Mercy (and mercy), there's a reason it's Faith, Hope, and Charity, and it always annoys me when people try and "fix" it.

ETA: If you did use the proper set, I think it'd be sweet if they were middle names. Subtle connections are nice; the kind that hit you like a Mack truck feel about as nice as...well, being hit by a semi.

I just don't understand why anyone would want to replace Charity, anyway. It's such a pretty name. D:

I can understand the logic on the surface, but if someone's aware enough to know the "the greatest of these is charity" part of the quotation, I'd like to think they'd be aware enough to raise their children so that there's no doubt among them that one's not greater than any of the rest. :-/

Yes, but it's still teasing potential, I think.
I'm rather glad Ben and Sarah used Grace instead of Charity, because Emma is already the show-stopper. Always will be, I think. The twins are pretty passive, and Emma is just bombastic.

Individually, I find Faith and Hope to be a bit dull but nice in their way, and I really like Mercy. As a triplet set, however, it's way too themey, and not even in a subtle and interesting way, in an obvious way. Some people don't have a problem with themey. The problem I have with themey sibsets is that these are people, not collector's items, which is what themey names bring to my mind. Although we refer to sibsets as, well, sets, they aren't actually sets; they're not a line of dinnerware or patio furniture, they're just a group of individuals who happen to have the same set of parents. Sorry if this isn't very clear or seems like a pointless diatribe.

Much too themey IMO. I generally prefer for multiple sets not too match. They're probably best suited as middle names.
