[Opinions] Re: Jaime

Personally, being named Jaimeson Jade (after my father James) and having my nickname (one of them at least) spelled Jaime, I like it on a girl. I can see how it would be masculine (HY-mee) when pronounced as a Spanish name. But it is also French (meaning 'I love' as j'aime). I love my name and always have. Jaimeson I wasn't crazy about as a child but knowing where it comes from I like it as an adult.
As for spelling it J-A-I-M-E, I think it makes sense to me. JAI is a pronounciation like JAY to me and ME says me to everyone in the english language.
I love it. As my own name esp, I love the meaning (I love) b/c it makes me think of good things. Call me crazy but the spelling of Jaime is totally feminine. I would never use that nn as a boys nn b/c the JAI part just looks feminine. For a boy I would go with definately Jamey or *maybe* Jamie.
some combos I like:
Jaime Jade (obviously lol)
Jaime Ashlyn
Jaime Marisol
Jaime Violet
Jaime Aniah (ah-NYE-ah)
Hope this helps! :)
