[Opinions] Romy (b) & Waterfall
I taught a boy named Romy (RO-mee) a year or so ago, Its really grown on me alot.
So much so my new sim family consists of:
Romy (father)
Trista (mother)
Raphael (son)
Antonia (daughter)
Do you think Romy could still work on a boy? Romy's mother said that it was the name of her grandfather and it had been used several times in her family for males.
Also what do you think of Waterfall as a mn for a boy or a girl? Im searching for more water names to add to my lists.

I suppose Romy works fine on a boy but I prefer it on a girl. Trista has an outdated feel to me - as if it was invented in the 70s (or 80s?) but never really caught on - but it's pretty enough.
Raphael sounds very snotty to me, because I met a very bratty child with that name once. Antonia is very elegant.
Edit - Forgot Waterfall. It's not for me, though ... I couldn't help but laugh if someone told me their mn was Waterfall, and that's not the reaction a mn should provoke, ideally.

I know a man called Romy and a baby boy called Romy. Both are from Eastern European families and are named after relatives called Roman (Hebrew names Abraham, pronounced Avrom where they came from).
I think anyone called Waterfall - especially a boy - would be in for alot of teasing connected with bathrooms!

Romy is okay, but it's not really my style. I think it would work better on a boy than a girl.
Trista is okay. I don't like nor dislike it.
Raphael is nice but only with the nn Rafe.
Antonia is very pretty but not something I'd ever use.
Waterfall is iffy for me. Using it as a middle name makes it slightly more appealing.
