[Opinions] WDYTO Libba?
I saw this in a magazine. The way it was used (on a Christmas card), I'm unsure whether it was an editor's creation or whether it was "real." It caught my eye because it's different but not too offbeat or weird. I think I like it.

I don't like it... but Libby is OK.
I like Lydda too, alothough I don't think it's a "legitimate" name.

Oh dear. I was hoping another poster would have thought of "labia" before me, but it seems I'm the first. Um - I like Libby?
I prefer full name (Libena). Libba is not my style. More like Liby.
It's an author's name...
...and I've always found it unpleasant. It just sounds "off" to me.

When I say Libba out loud, it sounds like I have a stuffy nose, so I don't care much for it.

It sounds like baby talk, like how a little kid would mispronounce Elizabeth, for instance.
I think that's probably how Libba and Libby became common nicknames. And there's nothing wrong with that IMO. I like Libba and Libby quite a lot, they're refreshing.
ditto.
