Help[Opinions] Palmyra
What do you think of the name Palmyra? It's the name of a street near mine and I've always liked the sound of it and was wondering how it would sound as a girl's name. I think it's nice, just wondering what you guys thought.

It's ok, but I much prefer the spelling Palmira, it looks "cleaner".

Palmyra is a suburb here in Western Australia. It was also an ancient city in Syria / Persia I think.
As a name I don't like it, I don't like Myra either.

I prefer just plain Myra. I don't like the 'palm' in it. It also reminds me of Paloma which in turn reminds me of the Papilloma.
