Elizabeth went to work one morning, only to find that she and several others had been fired, due to downsizing. With the new baby on the way, she decided just to be a stay at home mom for now.

Event: Husband finds out the twins are not his, what happens?
Lucy confesses to Vik that the twins might not his. Lucy and Vik had been seperated for a year because Vik had an affair. They were going to get a divorce. Lucy began a relationship with the family denist who led her to believe he would leave his wife. 9 months ago she ran into Vik at the bar and they had one drunk night together. When she found out she was pregnant she told the denist hoping he would finally leave his wife but he denied he was the father and stopped all communications with Lucy. She ran back to Vik convincing him he was the father. Vik told Lucy he would be there for her but as they were in the delverey room Lucy tells Vik shes not really sure he is the father. He was upset but he told her no matter what he would be the father. They ran some tests and it said Vik was NOT the father but he didn't care. Vik and Lucy called off their separation and decided to give their marriage another try. And they got a new denist.

Dear all,
As you may know, this has been a difficult year for us.
First off, our son Jamie got his girlfriend Angela pregnant, a shock that still has me reeling. I thought that we'd raised a good boy and I had no idea the kind of things he was up to. Luckily, I quickly realised that Jamie is as good boy and he'd made a mistake. Unfortunately for Angela, her parents weren't so forgiving and demanded she had an abortion. Jamie and Ange talked it through and both decided that there was no way they could abort their baby and that they'd do anything to keep the child. We agreed that Angela and the baby could move in with us (we're now Angela's legal guardians) on the condition that Jamie and Angela were mature and responsible about everything.
They've both coped brilliantly and I couldn't be more proud of them although it is exceedingly difficult for them to cope with such drastically altered lives. Last year they weren't even teenagers, now they're parents living together (albeit in separate rooms).

Lucas, who works on a ranch, fell off a horse while moving some cattle. He looked worse than he was with all the cuts and bruises. He ended up with a broken leg and wrist but all in all he's expected to make a full recovery. Many of his co-workers have chipped in around the ranch house and with the family while he's recovering.

Linus recently lost his job as a travel columnist for a local newspaper due to layoffs. Fortunately for him, the Travel Channel has been eyeing his work and has decided to hire him to host a show called The Road Less Travelled. It is about countries, sites, and cities that tourists and travel buffs would never think of going to for one reason or another. He starts filming next week. Initially, he was worried that new son Ian and his wife Amelia would not be able to travel with him but the producers were very accommadating and recommend that Linus bring his family. Their excuse? It increase morale and lowers stress. You can't beat that!
Note: I noticed some people got events that doesn't really fit into the storyline so far, such as this one: "Event: son who is 13 got his gf pregnant, what happens to the kids and families involved?" I thought we just had our first child, so how does that work out? Will future events be limited to the possible?

I was thinking that the person who got that could put into play a stepchild? I have not hosted one of these so I may not go along like the usual congrats. Sorry for misunderstanding.

We decided to buy a dog a few months ago and we named him Lewis. But when our son was born we found out that he was allergic. Well, we had to choose between James and Lewis and the choice wasen't hard to make. We asked a couple of friends if they could take Lewis in and my best friend said yes.
Lewis moved in to her and James were getting better.
James, our son, is named after Alastair's grandfather who died only one week after James's birth. At first we were going to name him Daniel Atticus but we choosed Daniel as a middlename instead.

Lucas was offered an excellent job in engineering in France, so the family was moved there. They settled in a nice large house in Northern France, near the Chunnel.

Ambrose graduated this year with a masters in World History with emphasis on the King Arthur Legendary period and Julius Ceasar. With this new development Ambrose was offered a tenure with Notre Dame University. He is taking the offer and we could not be happier!
