Yes, thank you. My google search led me to Wikipedia and I did read about the history of musette.
I hadn't thought about naming a child after a bagpipe. When you put it like that it does sound rather silly. :-) I was thinking more along the lines of the musical pieces I played on the piano. Somehow that reference sounds more palatable.
But it's all academic anyway. I'm not seriously thinking of using either name. I just thought others might like them and was interested in hypothetical combinations.
