[Opinions] Aston for a girl?
Would anyone use here this name for a girl or met a girl named Aston? So far as I knew it was a Masculine name only, but I have just looked it up and it says the names can be Feminine too. Perhaps I am just Etymologically Naiive! :D

I'd prefer it on a girl. It's kinda funky sounding. (In a good way.)

So far as I know, it isn't a masculine or feminine name. It could be, certainly, but I've never met an Aston.I don't like it. I don't like "ton" in names because it sounds like a town, and I don't like "Ass" either for obvious reasons. Together they're no better :-/

Interrestingly enough...(m)The meaning of the name is East town :0)

Aston is a surname, and therefore for me automatically defaults to male when given as a first name. I've never heard of, much less met, a girl called Aston.Where did you "look up" that Aston was a feminine personal name? You should know that many, if not most "baby name" sites and books are inaccurate.

I looked it up on this site

It seems masculine to me. So I would only use it on a boy.

I don't like it but I think it's usable on both.
