sounds like a librarian but actually i quite like it in theory. It's not at all offensive.
I actually quite like Roma. I think it makes a nice name for a girl. It's not common, yet it isn't totally unheard of either.
This is just Italian for Rome for me. It looks like the kind of name Fascist nostalgic parents would pick.
I've been reading about the Romani lately,
so I think of that, as they are often called the Roma. So it doesn't work for me.

Roma is another word for gypsy, so in that way I don't like it, but I love Rome and it has a nice sound
It reminds me too much of the Roma (people)

And as I'm not Roma myself, I personally wouldn't use it.
I prefer Romina :)

It's fine for someone else. It's both pretty and distinctive, although too placey for me.
I love Romina though :)

I like it, but prefer Roman for a boy. [I couldn't use both, could I?]
definitely one of the prettier place names I've heard although I'm generally not fond of them. It is also connected to the tomato which I guess isn't too bad of an association. So yeah, it's pretty nice if paired with something a little longer and feminine.
I don't like it because Roma is Italian for Rome, the capital of Italy which then reminds me of the horrible teacher I had to teach me Italian.
