[Opinions] Nouveau and Garlande
Nouveau - girls name, noo-voh
and
Arsha/Aasha Garlande
or Garlande Aasha (i added the e to make it french and feminine, as in a garland of flowers, and Aasha is pronounced with a long a, it means hope in hindi, garland of hope.)

Nouveau is a MALE WORD, not a female name.
Adding a -e doesn't make anything feminine...

As others have pointed out, Nouveau is a MASCULINE adjective. Nouvelle would be marginally better. The French for "garland" would be "guirlande" not "garlande", sticking a random -e at the end of a name doesn't make it French ("garland" is more a feminine concept anyway). Neither are used as names in France.
Overall, they both look silly and ignorant.

That's what I think when I hear "nouveau". That and Art Nouveau. I definitely don't find it attractive as a female name (as others have pointed out, it is a masculine form).
Garlande just looks silly to me. Stick with Garland. Also, I think Asha looks much more clean and pronounceable than Aasha. Why the extra a? So she'll always be the first person in her class alphabetically? (Unless there's an Aaron ;-))

Yes [m]
you can name them whatever you want however adding an e doesn't make it french.
Garland is already a more of girl's name to me Nouveau is pretty looking but I dislike the spelling it's a male name but I like it much better then the female spelling.
ETA: pretty meaning of the name

Nouveau ...
Nouveau means "new" in French, and it's MALE x_x Nouvelle would be female, but even then it's a pretty weird name ... how about Nova ? seems a lot more useable as a name to me.
Garland in French would be "Guirlande", I don't see the use of making something "look french", but it's a pretty nice meaning.

I think making it "look French" is code for, pretentious but ignorant of the actual reality.
No.
They're both trying too hard, and adding an e does not make it french or feminine.
