[Facts] Gia?
If Italian names like Gianna, Giada, Giovanna, etc. don't pronounce the i in their names, how do you pronounce Gia?

They pronounce it, all right, in the same was as English people pronounce the i in addition. The t + i makes a sh sound, and in Italian the g and i together make a j sound. So Gia would sound pretty much like Jah, which I don't see as a recommendation.

Gia isn't ItalianAnd Gianna, Giada, and Giovanna are. Gia is listed as English, which means that it would follow English rules, therefore it's Gia. Furthermore Gia isn't even related to any of the Italian names but is listed as a possible variant of Gaia.

I pronounce it JEE-ah, but it's not a really hard J. It's more Italiany. :)

Yes but in Italian Gia would be "ja", you wouldn't prounounce the "i" at all (unless it were stressed), it would just be there to indicate that the "g" sound is soft.
