I'm a huge Beatles fan, and I've considered using Lennon, mostly as a mn, several times. I think I would use it for a girl.

I'm weary of the surname as first name trend. Besides, it reminds me of Vladimir Lenin.

I was just going to say that I'd almost prefer Lenin, because I'm so sick of everyone thinking the Beatles and John Lennon were so amazing.

Only ever on a boy! My cousin is called Matthew Lennon Williamson (Williamson is a second mn not a surname). I like Lennon as a mn if you are a Beatles fan but probably not as a fn, as horrible nns like Len and Lenny may occur!
